Megan and Jamie’s Garden Party Wedding in Burnham on Sea and at Bristol Register Office.
As a wedding photographer from Somerset, I had the pleasure of capturing a beautiful two-day wedding that perfectly blended intimacy and elegance. Megan and Jamie kicked off their celebrations with a small ceremony at the Bristol Register Office, followed by a stunning black-tie garden party in Somerset. It was an unforgettable experience, and I was thrilled to document every moment.
Bristol Small Ceremony Wedding
The first part of the wedding was at the Bristol Register Office, where the couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony with just close family and friends. I loved capturing the tender moments between them—those quiet smiles and the first kiss that kicked off their journey together.
This two-day celebration was the perfect mix of intimate moments and grand celebration, and I’m so grateful I got to be part of it as their Somerset wedding photographer.
Private Garden Party Wedding
The second day was nothing short of awesome. The couple hosted a black-tie garden party at their family home in Somerset and the atmosphere was perfect. Guests mingled in the garden, sipping champagne and enjoying the elegant décor, with a beautiful stretch tent and early autumn colours creating a romantic vibe. As the evening went on, the dance floor came alive, and it was such a joy to capture the energy and happiness of the moment.
Wedding Photographer in Somerset
Being the photographer for this wedding was a dream. From the quiet, intimate moments of the ceremony to the lively energy of the garden party, every part of the wedding was special. I loved how different the two parts of the wedding were—from the formal atmosphere of the Register Office to the relaxed garden celebration—giving me a chance to tell their story in so many ways.
What the couple said:
“We are so fortunate to have had Tom capture our wedding celebrations, both at the registry office in Bristol and for our reception garden party in Burnham on Sea.
Tom is a lovely and genuine person and made us and our guests feel at ease in front of the camera. He was super accommodating and offered many opportunities to meet and discuss what we'd like from the photos which we appreciated as this also meant we got to know him a bit beforehand and we felt very involved in the process, which was exciting!
It was a pleasure having him at the wedding as he he felt part of the party and did an amazing job at blending in, while also being happy to jump in and direct us for photos as needed. The photos he took are incredible and we've loved looking through the album and sharing them with others. Beautiful images which really captured the emotions and energy of the day and such a wonderful way to look back on the weekend.
We really couldn't have asked for more. We'd highly recommend Tom to others and if we need a photographer in the future we would definitely ask him again! Thank you, Tom!”
