I’ll take those photos of course, but the photographs of the things nobody knows are going to happen; all the beautiful little interactions that are unscripted and unexpected can only happen when you have all these people together having a great time in this one place, charged up with emotions and maybe a bit of champagne.
Those are the photos you will look through again and again over the years to come.

Relaxed & beautiful couple shots without the rigid posing
As well as capturing the emotion, fun and candid moments that make up so many of my photographs, I can also take some beautiful photos of you two together, if you want me to. There are some examples just below this text.
None of the couples you see here are models. These photos are not from styled shoots. These are all real couples like you, who were maybe just as apprehensive about having their photo taken as you are.
In these images, I like to relfect the same relaxed and natural style I bring to the rest of your day. It means there will be very little posing or direction from me. I might move you to the best light or get you to have a quick embrace, but mainly you can spend some time together relaxing away from the crowd while I do the rest.
HOW WILL I SHOOT YOUR DAY?
My photographs are real, captured as they happened. Not staged, not faked or posed, just the actual moments shot by someone with an eye for detail who loves what he does. (I’m referring to me there, just in case you were wondering).
I want my photographs to convey the feelings from your day and to remind you and all those people you love so much just how much fun you had that special time when everyone got together. I don’t take over, I’ll organise the confetti throw and group photos but for most of the day I let things unfold, keeping myself alive to all the emotions, moments and often silliness that happens on a wedding day.
If and when we take 20 minutes or so for some simple and stylish portraits, I’ll help you feel at ease and I promise you won’t have to stand in rigid poses! We’ll keep it fun and you’ll be back to your party before you know it.

I believe the best moments occur naturally. My relaxed documentary style allows your wedding to flow and I capture the moments as they happen.
That’s why I shoot weddings, capturing these moments and memories is exactly what I want to do every time I pick up my camera and hopefully, as you look through the photos on my website you will see my inspiration; people doing people things and having a great time doing it.
Every wedding is an inspiration, they never get old because they’re never the same and that’s why I love my job so much. You two are unique and your photos will be a unique, timeless collection of moments and memories from the best party you ever planned.

Hi, thanks for stopping by. I’m Tom, the guy behind the camera, photo editor and tea-boy here in Bristol.
When I’m not photographing weddings you might find me playing volleyball, walking my Springer Spaniel, looking after my son, drawing D&D maps or working on my old VW van.
I’ve been shooting weddings since 2021 and absolutely love it. The first wedding I ever shot was a complete lightbulb moment for me, a realisation that this is my calling. I can’t imagine another job that could bring me anywhere near the joy I get from photographing weddings.

Award Winning Wedding Photographer
In February 2025 I won a This is Reportage wedding photography award for the image below. I’ve not entered many, in fact this was my second entry to an award so to win was really quite something. I’m including this here just so you can see something a bit different.
The moment itself was one worth waiting for, the girls were having such a great time on the bouncy castle and I knew I could find a great photo, so I positioned myself and hoped. They say luck is where preparation meets opportunity, so I’ll call this lucky.
