A Wedding Photographer’s guide to Pynes House, the perfect venue for your luxury wedding.

Are you looking for the perfect venue for stylish and timeless wedding photos? Pynes House in Devon is the venue for you. I’m excited to share some of my photos of this gorgeous Georgian country house and some tips on how to make your wedding day spectacular.

Pynes House Devon Wedding Venue

Situated in a perfect little spot in Devon’s Exe Valley, with stunning grounds and wonderful views, driving up the tree lined drive into Pynes House is like leaving the hustle and bustle of the real world and stepping into your own luxurious dream world.

The rooms are artfully decorated with period style, but also feel modern and clean. Light floods in from the period windows that give views over the immaculate grounds. There really is no better wedding venue in the South West, in my opinion.

Where to have your ceremony at Pynes House, Devon

There are staterooms of different sizes available for wedding ceremonies at Pynes House and you can even have an outdoor ceremony on the front courtyard, with the perfect backdrop of a tree lined path or the beautiful house itself. The sun sets over the trees at the front of the house, making it the perfect spot for some golden hour portraits as the day turns to evening.

Within the building, the dining room is a wonderful location for your wedding breakfast and speeches, with huge period windows on two walls, the light fills the room and makes for the most luxurious of spots for food and fun.

How to dress for a Pynes House Wedding

First off, your wedding is your dream day so you should wear what you feel suits you the most. But if I can offer any advice here, I say gentlemen go with timeless black suits, maybe add colour with your tie, socks and pocket squares. If you’re aiming for a luxury wedding, black is always in fashion.

Ladies, I’d never dream to tell you what to wear, but maybe condsider a beautiful matching colour for your bridesmaids, something classic and elegant will sit very well within the beautiful house and grounds.

Again, if you’re aiming for a luxury wedding at this gorgous luxury wedding venue, task your guests with looking their best.
